May is one of our favorite times of the year because it’s Latino Books Month! Started in 2004 by the Rhode Island Latino Arts, it’s a month celebrated annually every year to uplift Latinx authors, illustrators, and books of every genre in both English and Spanish, and to inspire other Latinxs to pursue a career in writing.
